RESTAURANT 100 MANEIRAS

Lisbon, Portugal

The Atelier Nini Andrade Silva embarked on a journey of creative exploration for this project, drawing inspiration from the Decadent movement. This era, with its emphasis on the sensual, the evocative, and the embrace of the fantastical, provided the perfect backdrop for a dining experience that transcends the ordinary.

We sought to create an atmosphere that is both alluring and intriguing, a space where reality blurs with the realm of dreams. The design incorporates elements of the macabre and the romantic, with a focus on unexpected juxtapositions and a playful sense of theatricality.

Natural materials, such as aged wood, raw iron, and exposed concrete, are juxtaposed with opulent textures and sumptuous fabrics. A dramatic centerpiece, a colossal lamp adorned with dripping wax candles, casts an ethereal glow over the space. Elsewhere, a massive sculptural root, suspended from the ceiling, evokes a sense of wonder and enchantment.

The dining experience is further enhanced by the "Garden of Winter," a lush oasis that invites guests to escape the ordinary. This lush green space, complete with cascading water features, creates a sense of tranquility and wonder.

The result is a dining experience that is both captivating and unforgettable, a testament to the Atelier Nini Andrade Silva's ability to translate abstract concepts into tangible and breathtaking realities.
