Hotel Palácio do Governador

Having in mind the historical and patrimonial value of the building in which the hotel is built, the interior design project has been carefully developed with the intention of enhancing this cultural heritage and, in honor of the Portuguese presence in the Orient, we turn to use of faience inspired in "Companhia das Índias", highlighting one of the most prosperous periods of Portugal - the Portuguese Discoveries. The interior concept is also focused on the beautiful panels of the existing tiles, whose main themes are - the Portuguese maritime expansion, religious iconography and various decorative elements (geometric, vegetal etc).
