Nestled amidst the historic cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, the Forte de Gaia, Autograph Collection, is more than just a hotel; it's a journey through time. Inspired by the region's rich winemaking heritage, Atelier Nini Andrade Silva has meticulously crafted an interior design that seamlessly blends contemporary elegance with the spirit of the Douro Valley.

Upon entering the hotel, guests are immediately immersed in a captivating ambiance. The reception area, a dramatic tableau adorned with towering wine baskets and autumnal hues, evokes the harvest season and pays homage to the region's viticultural legacy.

The design narrative unfolds throughout the hotel. A sculptural staircase, reminiscent of a giant wine barrel, leads guests to the business center, a vibrant hub of activity. Throughout the hotel, subtle allusions to the winemaking process are woven into the design, from the warm, earthy tones to the carefully curated artwork.

The guest rooms, each a sanctuary of comfort and sophistication, offer breathtaking views of the Douro River. Drawing inspiration from the vineyards, the interiors feature a palette of warm neutrals, accented with rich textures and bespoke furnishings.
